Design
From kitchen products to social spaces, I'm drawn to the thought behind how space and resource is used. Reusability, utility, multi-purpose design, durability in an age when things are built to break, and design that's intentional about connection are all fascinating and admirable. I love how Joseph Joseph make simple household objects save space or do two jobs; I’m in awe of the thought and commitment that went into this Barcelona cement factory turned home; and I’m excited by the innovation in this modular, waste-free clothing company (I also love it when ideas are taken from one industry and successfully transplanted into another).
